I’d like to introduce you to another ambitious fashion brand that you need to know: Meng.
The luxury label currently has a loungewear line and cushion line which, despite only launching in summer 2013, is stocked in some of the world’s most respected department stores including Selfridges, Harrods and Neiman Marcus.
The concept behind the brand is to design beautiful, colourful prints and splash them across feminine, silk garments and homeware to create a wearable work of art. Their loungewear in particular is something truly different that will excite fashion lovers. Their glamorous silk kimonos and gowns do not fall into the classic loungewear categories of ‘cosy cashmere’ or ‘sexy and lacy’ and that has really made them stand out from other brands in the market. So much so that they were nominated for New Designer of the Year and Loungewear Brand of the Year at the UK Lingerie Awards in December.
The founder of the brand, Meng Zhang, has an impressive CV with executive roles at Lane Crawford, Inditex and Chanel and exciting plans to grow the company with new product categories very soon so keep your ears and eyes peeled.
